Abbey Hotel Donegal

Had a fantastic stay in a very long time, enjoyed staff and rooms. The restaurant was magnificent in bar or restaurant, we ordered excellent dishes. An electric kettle, central heating and iron/ironing board were available in the room.

Everything was simply fantastic. Every part of it was great, I really enjoyed staff and location.

We liked staff and location, the hotel has essentials you need for christmas. The room was reasonably large with a view. The main bar was superb.

Spotlessly clean building in the centre of Donegal Town. The bedroom was updated, and the bed was comfortable;)))

The rooms were executive king and warm enough, the food was fantastic. The staff created a special atmosphere. Large beds & courteous people. It was satisfying hotel and we had a really enjoyable stay.

Absolutely perfect room with exceptionally comfortable bed, gorgeous breakfast with lots of appetising food. Hotel was fairly clean. Late check out too. Moreover, parking was nearby. Remote location, relatively near a 15th - century castle.

Moreover, it had parking nearby. We really loved the lounge bar...

The entire experience was GREAT. Hotel's position in front of Famine Graveyard and easy connection to the diamond. We found the house gastro pub to dine in 900 feet from the venue.

Bar was pretty fabulous. Location very close to Donegal bus stop, only 5 minutes walk away. We appreciated staying at abbey hotel donegal...
